My client is looking to take on a contract IT Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis. The role will require being on site in Newport Gwent (NP10) a minimum of one day per week.The contract will initially be for 3 months with strong likelihood of extension thereafter (likely 12 months+). The role will be paying £400pd - £425pd (poss neg.) OUTSIDE OF IR35.You will need experience of delivering multiple IT Projects for utilities clients. You should also be adept at managing multiple projects with varying complexity in a largely outsourced environment, managing external tenders and supplier onboarding etc.Projects will be varied across the IT spectrum including Infrastructure, Cloud Migration (to Azure), Network upgrades, System / platform upgrades, device deployment and more, so you will need to have a broad and varied IT project management experience.Essential Skillset / Experience:Previous Utilities industries experience or worked in a heavily regulated industry.Supplier ManagementManaging 4 – 6 full lifecycle projects at one timeExcellent communication skills to deal with external and internal stakeholders.Contractual/Commercial awareness and experience in successfully devising contracts that have demonstrably enhanced supplier delivery.Demonstrable experience of full financial ownership of projects.Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent Project management qualification is mandatory.ITIL
