Tech Lead 6 months or 12 months Newport Outside IR35 DBS - Able to go through SC They should be a practitioner in in the use of cloud based technologies and tools and have the appetite and thirst to gain new knowledge and skills, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and the changing landscape. A temporary Technology Lead is required who can serve as a central person responsible for technology decisions for the team, collaborating with other Tech Leads, SAs and TAs when required to meet a consensus and to share knowledge and code to ensure there is no duplication of effort. This Tech Lead will help with the mentoring and knowledge transfer for the tools and processes we are using as well as take an active part in contributing and providing leadership and best practice.Essential skills are:*Team Leading, mentoring and coaching*Practitioner in Cloud design and development, preferably AWS with expert knowledge of Appsync, Lambdas, Dynamo DB and S3, go/golang and python.*Practitioner in database design and implementation. Taking logical data models into physical implementations and understanding the requirements and tools to be able to choose the right dbms for the job.*Have knowledge of CI/CD techniques and tools, preferably Concourse and Terraform.*Aptitude to learn new skills, research and keep up to date with emerging technologies.
