As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeingour operations and driving the success in the industry.Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the plant hire company.- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and maximise profitability.- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.- Lead and manage a diverse team of employees, promoting a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes and drive continuous improvement.- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors.- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.- Utilise financial data and performance indicators to make informed business decisions and drive financial growth.Requirements:- Proven experience in a managerial role within the plant hire industry or a related field.- Strong knowledge and experience in working in Ground Shoring or Temporary works experience is highly desirable- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.- Proficient in using industry-specific software and technology to streamline operations.- A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.If you are a dedicated and experienced professional seeking an exciting opportunity to lead a successful plant hire company, we encourage you to apply.
