As our Area Sales Manager, you will be required to identify and create new business opportunities as well managing existing accounts in a wide range of industries. You must be a self-driven team player and results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You will need to be a natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance, you will be credible, and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts. Reliable, tolerant and determined. Empathic, communicator, well presentedand businesslike.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Area Sales Manager - PackagingYou will be required to identify and create new business opportunities as well managing existing accounts in a wide range of industries. Drive high profit margin and ROI: achieve margin improvement with mix of products Ensure a professional line is presented at all times managing customer expectations as appropriate in line with the business priorities. Manage the total cost of servicing the account, including the hidden costs. Ensure that the customers SLA is deliveredPERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager - PackagingYou will have a proven track record of selling industrial consumables into a manufacturing environment. Experience and knowledge of rigid packaging, particularly plastic (blow moulded and injection moulded) and metal (steel and tinplate), would be of greatinterest, although not a pre-requisite.We are also interested in candidates who have knowledge of working within distribution channelsYou will be able to demonstrate, with thorough training, that you are able to be: An exceptional packaging sales professional A competent presenter, able to present the companys image professionally at all levels One who can deliver solutions to our clients and solve customer problems.THE COMPANY:We are a provider of the widest range of high quality plastic and metal containers in the UK supplying a diversity of market sectors across food and non-food customers.Established for over 40 years, we offer a service to our clients which is second to none.
