Job Description

A 145 Quality Technician is needed to ensure product quality, and contribute to the overall success of the Engineering & Manufacturing department within a highly successful aerospace setting in Newport. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail,a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and a dedication to maintaining high standards.Client DetailsThis organisation is a prominent player in the aerospace manufacturing sector with a global reach and a team of over 1,000 employees.   • Analyse parts sent in for repair
  • Conduct tests on products to verify quality
  • Undertake repairs and the build process
  • Document and report on testing procedures and results
  • Coordinate with team members and other departments to improve product quality
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
ProfileA successful Quality Technician should have:
  • Part 145 Knowledge/Experience
  • Aviation Seat Knowledge/Experience
  • Quality Assurance Knowledge/Experience
  • Operations/Seat Build Experience
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial / manufacturing environment
