Job Description

CRP Group are recruiting a Centre Manager for a forward-thinking Hydraulic organisation based in Devon that fix, diagnose and repair machinery.You would need experience in Hydraulic or mechanical background and ideally have some experience in a managerial role or a similar position. The successful Centre manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the Centre, assigning weekly performance goals,and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals. You will have a small team of technicians underneath you, a deputy assistant and a admin and accounts assistant helping you with day to day tasks.Your role is to make sure everyone is on the right track and need to make sure everything is running smoothly. The primary duties of the Centre manager will include planning, coordinating and controlling all the technicians and as a Centre manager you willbe dealing with customers and working on the Profit and loss sheets.Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the Centre and the technicians
  • Ensure any communication from customers is effectively handled including complaints
  • Ensure only adequately trained and competent personnel work in an unsupervised role
  • Be one of the main points of contact at the operation
  • Ensure the operation of the Centre and the technicians complies with UK/European legislation
  • Manage work allocation within the Centre and amongst the technicians to ensure good customer service
