Job Description

Waregrain Group are a customer focused refinishing distributor with multiple sites across the south of the UK. A family-owned business and established in 1968, we have a job opening for a Branch Supervisor based at our Plymouth site to support our salesof paints and consumables.This will ideally suit someone from a parts, motor factor or similar background.We are looking for a passionate Branch Supervisor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who will lead and work alongside our sales team boosting branch sales, customer relationships injecting some much-needed energy into the site.As the Branch Supervisor, you will be proactive and positive towards company promotion and initiatives, leading on our aim to be the best supplier, employer and customer within our industry.Contract: Full TimeHours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 17:00Main Duties:

  • Responsibility for a small branch team
  • Organisation and planning driver delivery routes
  • To manage the health and safety requirements of the branch
  • Managing internal stock inventory, monitoring purchase trends and re-ordering as required
  • To help the sales team achieve monthly targets
  • To be familiar with local competition and make recommendations on activities that could support branch sales growth
  • Work closely with the accounts department maintaining customer credit control
The candidate:
  • Preferable experience within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong leadership and organisation skills
  • Demonstrate good I.T literacy
  • Ability to meet deadlinesStable work history
