Job Description

Rthirteen are proudly partnering with a successful training provider in their recruit for a Quality Performance Manager. Driving the quality of further education throughout the department, you will promote excellence in teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies. To enhance continual development and improvements,you will lead observations, deep dives and walk throughs and devise action plans as required.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that wants to make a real difference - your motivation and dedication will enhance the development and improvement of the further education department. Your teaching qualifications and previous experience willsupport you to coach and guide teaching staff & their practice. These qualities will be combined with your excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.Duties to include:

  • Ensure quality requirements and standards are effectively driven throughout the department.
  • Planning, coordinating and leading lesson and learning observations, and producing performance reports and action plans as required.
  • Overseeing the quality of remote learning and carrying out regular quality reviews, including learning packs and blended learning material.
  • Coaching and supporting teaching staff to develop and improve the quality of their teaching practice, to ensure teaching and learning plans are effective and subsequently achieved.
  • Planning and coordinating deep dives and learning walks to ensure quality and continual development.
  • Coordinating and delivering local CPD as a result of deep dives, learning walks and observations.
  • Inducting new teaching staff into the department and proving teaching cover as required.
  • Implementing and promoting an effective and realistic engagement strategy.
  • Regularly updating the quality tool book, optimising reporting and sharing relevant information.
You will have/be:
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience coaching, training and supporting teaching staff to develop the quality of the learning experience.
  • Level 1 Observation within the last year is desired, but not essential.
  • Current knowledge of relevant further education initiatives.
  • The ability to create an aspirational culture that promotes growth and development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • A strong motivation to strive for and achieve success.
  • Innovative teaching methods.
  • Solid problem solving, time management and planning skills.
  • UK driving license to meet travel requirements.
This is a full time, permanent position working 9:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this position is £32,000 per annum.
