We are delighted to be supporting an impressive Newmarket based main dealer in the recruitment of a Parts Manager. The depot is one of the busiest in the group and the Parts Manager will lead the front of house and manage a tight knit team of Parts Advisors.You will be involved with day-to-day operations but also working with the senior team to implement the companys strategic goals. The role is well suited to an established Parts Manager that is looking for a fresh challenge with an award-winning company, or an experienced Parts Advisor that is ready to take a step up in their career. Whatever your current title, its imperative that youare able to provide excellent customer service and maintain the companies excellent local and national reputation. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (45 hours) with the requirement to work 1 in every 3 Saturday mornings (shared rota with team). Core responsibilities include:*Providing excellent leadership to the Parts Advisors and ensure the smooth day to day operation.*Implementation of the companys strategic goals.*Ensuring correct team resourcing including rota, recruitment, and succession planning.*Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, monitoring results and implementing initiatives to ensure exceptional customer experiences.*Ensuring monthly delivery of KPIs including budgeted sales, profit and fill rates.*Managing and maintaining supplier relationships*Executes parts processes, guidelines and polices consistently i.e. ordering, receiving, inventory, selling, return and marketing.*Maintains good discipline and organisation of the parts department ensuring everything is organised, clean and safe.*Ensuring a high level of employee engagement including holding frequent department meetings *Supporting customers as required.*Responsible for showroom sales, ensuring the showroom is organised to increase sales.*Create attractive and rewarding displays for most popular product lines.What youll bring to the role:*Current experience in a Parts related position.*Industry relevant experience- agricultural, construction machinery, or plant. *Excellent people management and customer service skills*Youll be a passionate and empathetic leader. *Commercially savvy *Sound IT skills and comfortable using in-house online systems.*Youll be flexible with working hours- requirement to work 1 in every 3 Saturday mornings. *You must have a Full UK Driving License The benefits:*A competitive salary of up to £35,000-£40,000 or hourly rate equivalent *An annual bonus (management level %)*A holiday entitlement which increases with length of service*Great work facilities and a healthy and positive working environment
