Area Technical Sales Manager - Metal Working ToolsPackage: Up to £35k Basic, £5k Bonus, 25 days annual leave, Company Vehicle & fuel card, credit cardOur Client: is a very well established (over 100 years), successful manufacturer specialist professional tools - hand and power. Their range is extensive and includes hand drills, jigs, tappers, polishers, extractors, sanders, angle grinders etc. and they are perceived by many professionals to provide market leading product support and service.The Role:You will be responsible for technical enquires your area, working closely with Area Sales Manager to implement and develop our client’s metal working strategy to both distribution and end-user customers.The role will involve, providing of product training/demonstrations to both distributors and end-users. You will be expected to have a consultative sales style to provide a "solution-based" approach to end-user requirements and their application needs - considering the customers complete process to enable you to identify opportunities for improvement and best-fit.The Candidate: As you will be responsible for technical enquires on your area, it is important you have experience for selling technical products into a similar customer base. Ideally you will have experience of selling a consumable product e.g. cutting tools, abrasives, hand tools into manufacturing end users and have experience of influencing customers from the shop floor through to procurement. Our client will train you in all aspects of their product range and ensure you are proficient at presenting their solution prior to engaging with prospective customers.
