Position: Work Experience CoachLocation: Newcastle Upon TynePackage: £25,000 - £30,000 Traineeships are seeing massive amounts of investment in the current market. In a bid to kick start the economy, the Government have put incentives around the Traineeship programmes for employers that look to hire trainees into their business in a post Covid world, and as such there is high demand for them.…. But you already knew this, as youll already be working in this market, and would have probably set your alarm for when Rishi made his announcement a few weeks back. This Work Experience Coach role is all about Traineeships, and the fantastic opportunities they can present for an individual, and for a business. In a sentence, this role is focused on finding and sourcing meaningful work placement opportunities for traineeship learners North of the Tyne. The majority of this will be in and around Newcastle, and you are going to have a bit of free reign on this one in the sense of what type of opportunities you can source. The provider deliver traineeships across a range of markets from Business Admin, Customer Service & retail, to warehouse & logistics, to tourism. Theres a few more in there but by now you should be getting the drift. If you are reading up to now, you will hopefully have guessed that we need someone who already understands this market, and will already be doing similar role - perhaps for JCP, DWP, or another training provider/local authority. Sorry for those that think this is great but something new for you, the reason we need direct experience foe this one is because its a relatively new role. So the occupant in this role will be leading much of this function, and as such need to hit the ground running, already have employer relationships in the area, and an understanding of the traineeship/NEETs demographic.Back to it..So yes, you will be having a bit of a lead role here. The provider are very well established, and have delivered traineeships previously, but its always been heavily apprenticeship and AEB lead. Now more than ever, work placements and employment are KEY so we need someone to come in with employer links in and around Newcastle.Youll need a mix of sales/BD nuance to be able to open doors, but also be able to establish relationships with learners so that you can understand what placements will suit them.Target wise, you will be looking at 15 placements a month to start with.Last bit I promise. I dont care if youve been doing this for 1 year or 10, the key is that youve been doing it! Secondly is, and without sounding cliché, we need a team player. Although running solo on this, you have a very active team around you. The Newcastle office is a buoyant one, and theyll make you feel welcome, but you have to enjoy being in a bubbly office.Fancy a chat Lets make it happen.
