We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, independent specialist in providing quality engineering inspections and testing services. As part of a larger group of companies, they form part of a global provider of testing, inspection, certification,and compliance services.As a Trainee Engineer Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to join under a structured training programme, supported by fellow Engineer Surveyors in the field to gain exposure to various different types of inspection, including PUWER, LOLER, PSSR and LEV.The inspections will cover lifting equipment, manufacturing machinery, pressure systems and more as your experience grows, and your training programme is completed. All paperwork and inspection reports will be required to be completed via tablet.You area of coverage will incorporate the Northeast, up to the Central Belt of Scotland and down to North and West Yorkshire.All travel to and from sites will be paid on a door-to-door basis.The basic starting salary for the role will be circa £38,000 upon entry to the business. This will be reviewed at planned intervals during your progression, and eventual promotion to the role of Engineer Surveyor.You will be provided with a choice of a company car, or alternatively you may make your own vehicle arrangements and have a company car allowance, to be discussed with you on interview. You will be offered 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a standardcontributory pension scheme.To be considered, you will need to have;
