Job Description

Our client is looking to employ a Trainee Business Account Manager to join their Contractor New Build Team based in the Northeast Area. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, andin return, you will receive a competitive salary and bonus.As the UK market leading Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom fitted furniture manufacturer, they have had unsuppressed growth over the last 40 years, with an emphasis on providing a high standard of products and service. They are currently seeking the very bestpeople, to further strengthen our position within the industry by appointing dedicated individuals to share in their success.Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual who has the communication and coordination skills to support the Business Account Managers within the Northeast area so must be based in that area.The key responsibilities of the Trainee Business Account Manager will include:

  • Actively supporting the account managers with the management of our larger and more complex accounts.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure that customers are getting excellent service and we are maximising market share from all customers we deal with.
  • Building relationships with key customer contacts.
  • To ensure business growth from existing customer base is maximised.
To succeed as their Trainee Business Account Manager, you must be:
  • Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to help develop and maintain existing relationships with Architects, Specifiers, Site/Project Managers, Buyers, Senior Managers and Directors.
  • Able to handle multiple projects positively.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines.
  • Willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
In addition, you must have:
  • The desire to build a career and succeed in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills and be computer literate.
  • A full UK driving licence, as travel within the area and throughout the UK, when relevant, will be required.
  • A relevant site health and safety card, but this can be included as part of the training.
