Technical Services Engineer ~ £Attractive PackageIdeally Based: Central belt of Scotland, Cumbria or North EastCoverage: Scotland, Cumbria, North East and Ireland Client:VEKA plc is the largest supplier of PVCu profiles to the UK window market, it extrudes and sells hollow window profiles and accessories to fabricators across the UK and Ireland under the brand names VEKA and HALO. The company has firmly established its strategy of sustainability in the UK.This role represents the opportunity to join the UKs No1 in a key role to help customers grow and develop.Role:You will be responsible for the proactive introduction and management of new and existing customers, ensuring manufacturing excellence in the fabrication of VEKA systems. The role requires knowledge and expertise in order to advise customers regarding the operation of tooling and materials, therefore experience gained within a similar role would be advantageous. This position involves the implementation of fabricator improvement programmes and training methods, to ensure recommended techniques are maintained in accordance with set procedures. Recent fabrication experience would therefore support an application. The successful candidate will be required to communicate regularly with fabricators; candidates must therefore exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to manage their own time effectively.Candidate:IT skills are essential to the role, although training will be provided where necessary.This role will involve organised visits to fabricators, commercial clients and homeowners (which may require overnight stays in hotel accommodation), responding to a variety of technical queries. This position therefore requires an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an excellent customer service ethos and an ability to develop and make positive and proactive continuous improvement changes. Ideally you will need to have a track record in window/door manufacture and installation, with a full understanding of the disciplines and techniques.Remuneration:A very favourable package Required skills
