Job Description

QED are proud to be representing this leading Law Firm in Newcastle city centre who are currently looking for a team support assistant to join their firm. The successful candidate will be someone who can offer administration support to a number of PA teamsacross the firm.The work may vary from team to team however the role includes the following -

  • File opening and first draft engagement letters;
  • File closing procedures;
  • Carrying out company searches;
  • Carrying out conflict checks;
  • Saving client documents to document management system and data room;
  • Scanning and photocopying;
  • Creating OneDrive folders, creating access links and uploading documents;
  • Working with pdf documents (ie adding/removing pages, collating several documents to create one pdf document);
  • Creating bibles and saving to the database;
  • Entering key dates;
  • Updating CRM database;
  • Processing expense and mileage claims;
  • Sending original documents to the deeds store;
  • Assist with business development event admin;
  • Non urgent typing;
  • Post administration;
  • Saving documents received via DocuSign.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an office based environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
