Major Healthcare are a leading provider in Health and Social CareJoining the Major Healthcare family means using your experience in a wide variety of settings across the North East supporting those who are most vulnerable, while maintaining the flexibility of working in line with your availability!Working as a Care Assistant or a Support Worker you will be expected to deliver a high standard of care and support across various settings, empower service users to maintain as much independence as possible and ensure all daily living activities are met to the highest standard of person centred care.We supply staff to a range of clients in settings including; residential, domiciliary care, nursing, independent living and specialist units.Main Duties:· Support and assist with daily living activities· Administer medication/assist with moving and handling (depending on the service requirements)· Develop positive professional relationships with our clients and service users· Complete any and all administrative duties· Undertake domestic duties where needed· Maintain confidentiality and ensure you honour service users privacy and dignityPerson Specification:· Minimum of 6 to 12 months experience within healthcare environments· Be reliable and professional· Have eligibility to work in the UK· Be caring, understanding, patient and calm.· Preferably be a driver with access to a vehicleBenefits:· Flexible hours to suit you· Free Training and Refresher training· Holiday accrual· Refer a Friend Scheme· Competitive hourly rates Required skills
