Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Storesperson to join an established manufacturing company on a permanent basis.As the Storesperson your Prime Role and Duties will be:

  • Goods in: Receive internal and external deliveries, check, and process on IFS and locate items accurately.
  • Picking: Pick accurately from stock locations with the aid of a picking list and process on IFS as required.
  • Stock returns: Return stock to correct locations & update system in a timely manner.
  • Despatch: Prepare and package items correctly and in time for collection/load out.
  • Cycle counting: Carry out cycle counting activities periodically.
  • Report any stock anomalies and assist with queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with supplier returns as required.
  • Always maintain effective stock control.
The successful Storesperson will have the following core competences:
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines.
  • Be able to work overtime, possibly at short notice
  • Computer literacy essential and attention to detail.
  • Flexible attitude to work demands.
  • Fork Lift Licence, Overhead Crane Licence and Driving Licence (Preferred).
