Reed Health and Care are working with one of the Largest Regional Disability Charities based in the North of England.The Organisation has an exciting opportunity for 2-3, Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapists to support their existing team on an Ad-Hocbasis.The Adult Day Service supports individuals aged 20+ with a range of learning and physical needs including Barriers to Communication, Sensory Impairment, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Cerebral Palsy and other Associated Conditions.The service offers a range of bespoke, person-centred activity pathways to promote service user engagement, independence and lifelong learning!The onsite Integrated Therapy Provision offers Specialist Treatment Programmes such as Hydrotherapy and Rebound Therapy Sessions!As a Specialist Physiotherapist you will: Assess and Provide Therapy Interventions for a caseload of individuals with Complex Needs within an Educational Setting.Have demonstratable skills in working with students/service users with complex disabilities, including physical disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions and behaviours that concern.Develop high quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy Interventions within specialist relevant fields including Motor Programmes, Hydrotherapy, Rebound Therapy, Respiratory Management, Behavioural Management; Community Skills; Emotional Regulation, SensoryIntegration and Mental Health.Assess and deliver Hydrotherapy and Rebound Therapy sessions for funded service users.Demonstrate excellent assessment skills and contribute effectively to Multi-Disciplinary Team discussions to determine ongoing needs and therapy planning.Manage all aspects of a caseload of service users following a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment.To produce detailed and comprehensive reports for a range of professionals relating to the individuals current and future needs.Assess and write management plans for service users with moving and handling needs.Monitor and Maintain EquipmentKnowledge of Risk Assessment process and applicationKnowledge and understanding of Mental Health and Mental Capacity ActKnowledge and understanding of Safeguarding LegislationFor theSpecialist Physiotherapist, you will need the following:HCPC RegisteredQualified Personal Trainer StatusPost Education Competencies CompletedSignificant experience in Physiotherapy including working with people with a range of Complex NeedsAn Enhanced DBS registered to the Update ServiceAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented Education SettingRight to Work in the UKYou must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.If you would like to register your interest in the Specialist Physiotherapist Role, please ‘Apply Now’.
