Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician to join the Estates Operational Team.The successful candidate will join a team of Technicians responsible for the maintenance, repair and validation (in-line with HTM 01-01 & 01-06) of 40+ pieces of Decontamination equipment including Porous Load Sterilisers, Washer Disinfectors, Automatic Endoscope Reporocessors & Reverse Osmosis Plants.Applicants must demonstrate flexibility and initiative when dealing with a wide range of engineering services and will have experience maintaining equipment as part of a planned preventative maintenance program.Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have post-apprenticeship experience.
