Digital with Purpose.We are looking for skilled, purpose-driven Software Engineers to join us in DWPs Intelligent Automation Garage.Youll code and build services that are more accessible and more effective for millions of DWP users, and that just work better and more efficiently.What do we do in the automation garageNatural language processing, optical character recognition, computer vision, machine learning, event-driven architecture, microservice architecture, serverless computing, containerisation, robotic process automation, and infrastructure-as-code.Everything we do is cutting edge. Youll design, build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based products using a blend of the latest techniques.Our teams love tackling complex problems, and the autonomy we have to find creative solutions. We collaborate and innovate to deliver technology that carries real value for users.Our Tech Stack / Your Tech Stack

  • Open source technologies like Python, Node.js, C#
  • Developing on cloud-based environments like AWS and Azure.
  • TDD and BDD.
  • SQL and NoSQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Containerisation - tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment.
  • APIs, RESTful services and Microservice Architectures.
