The OpportunityWe are working with an award winning national software product business who have developed a suite of products that support a global customer base. This is a new role in the business and the focus will be to support the Head of Engineering with their people and delivery management responsibilities, the business have ambitious growth goals for 2023.You will not be hands on however are likely to have a background in software development and your role will be to take on coaching & mentoring of the development teams, managing appraisals, 1-2-1s, career development plans, performance review and aspects ofresource planning and delivery. Working closely with the technical leads you should understand what engineering best practice looks like and be to hold the developers to account.From a delivery perspective youll be running sprint planning, daily stand ups, helping to prioritise work and detailing next steps to the developersThe client is based in the centre of Newcastle and ideally candidates would be able to spend 1-2 days per week in the office however this is not essential.Do you have the following
