Job Description

Software Development Lead Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + benefitsIndustry: Global Software ProviderWHY: Huge investment and growth opportunityLocation: hybrid - must be able to commute to the NE office (1-2 days per week)

We are currently working with a leading Software Vendor that following substantial investment are looking to further develop their Software Development capabilities. This role will give you the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day 1, grow a team,and be part of a highly ambitious company, joining at the perfect time as the company is entering a period of significant growth.An exciting opportunity as arisen for a Software Development Lead (JavaScript) to join the European region. You will work closely with the UK Commercial, Product, and Tech Support functions to optimise software through enhancing the productroadmap. You will be the first Developer in the UK with huge opportunities to grow a team. Through your strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly, you will have an impact from day 1 to improve software performance. The global Development,DevOps, and Testing teams will support release cycles and therefore speed up production.Responsibilities - Software Development Lead
  • Produce high quality and maintainable software, working with global development team to optimise software performance
  • Provide technical leadership for the UK / Europe
  • Communicate with key internal stakeholders to understand product roadmap and ensure delivery of software functionality
  • Provide pragmatic approach to optimise software systems
Experience and Skills - Software Development Lead
  • Senior / Lead / Principal commercial experience across current tech stack: JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS
  • Beneficial if you have C# and Linux exposure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with a SaaS platform - beneficial if you have worked with data, algorithms, or data modelling platforms
