Job Description

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join our client based in Newcastle. This is a temporary role until the end of Sept 2023 (Potential Temp to Perm conversion for the right candidate. Working - 40 Hours per week (includes shift between the hours of 7am & 7pm on call hours) Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:45 paying between £19.23 - £20.19 per hour depending on experience PAYE only. The candidate will be responsible for general PPM andreactive tasks as well as the management of sub-contracted works.**A Drug screening is required for all successful candidates**A vacancy has arisen for a mobile engineer responsible for PwCs offices in Newcastle, Bradford and Leeds. This is an established national service contract for PwC with a large scope of building and accommodation services and as such any successful applicantwill need to be highly motivated with a proactive approach.The successful applicant would work with the existing team to ensure the buildings receive the required service to ensure the customer is able to provide a comfortable environment for their staff and customers.Responsibilities

  • Undertaking PPM completion to agreed SLAs
  • Undertaking minor project works
  • Management of sub-contractors for service and project works
  • Undertaking water treatment tasks in accordance with the ACOP
Additional job requirements to include:
  • Updating of PwCs Concept CAFM system
  • Booking of time using our company Service Management System (SMS)
  • Maintaining Plant/Plant areas to a high standard
And would be able to demonstrate:
  • Good level of customer focus / customer service
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of building services with the ability to fault find and resolve problems
  • City & Guilds Electrical Engineering
  • IEE 17th/18th Edition trained
  • H&S Awareness
  • Accuracy, sound judgment, and good prioritisation skills
Be punctual and have a proven sickness and time-keeping record* A broad range of qualifications may be acceptable; however, it is envisaged that there should be a sound Engineering background with a demonstrable ability, ideally supported by a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship. An ONC/HNC in an Engineeringdiscipline would be advantageous.This role is to cover sites in Newcastle, Leeds and Bradford with travel expenses being covered. Therefore the candidate must have a clean UK driver license.Potential Temp to Perm conversion for the right candidate
