Our client is a leading manufacturer of cables and connection products for the subsea industry covering a range of offshore sectors. The Role Service support on products which have been supplied by the company, and other manufacturers products. Services offered include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fibre optic termination and repairs of subsea cables and umbilicals. Be the day to day focal point both internally and for the customer for all Field Service requests for support. Core responsibility on Umbilicals or Power Cables. Provide front end Technical support to the Customer for the service scopes of work. Assessing Customer needs and compiling the technical scope of work which can form part of the commercial bid. This is to include the method, materials, manning and skill requirements. Compile procedures and instructions for Service workscopes. Support Services training and competency plans including the provision of internal training needs. Provide formal 24/7 technical support as per rota and On-call policy. Guide the Service Admin support in the coordination of Technician travel & accommodation. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best practice is maintained and improved upon. Maintain a professional bearing at all times and actively promote the companys products and services to Customers whenever possible. Ensure that all paperwork regarding each job is completed in a timely manner so that invoicing can be completed. This includes site reports, expenses, test sheets, etc. Support development and delivery of monthly KPIs aligned to the Services business The Person Electrically biased with experience of high voltage up to 66KV Previous offshore experience is required This role would suit an offshore technician looking to come back onshore in an engineering role Power Cable experience is a necessity, in particular Offshore Renewable cable experience (terminations, repair splicing and testing). GWO certifications would be beneficial Ideally have experience of an Oil & Gas field support business. Knowledge and experience of problem solving and continuous improvement tools.
