They are looking for an autonomous, experienced analyst to join the rapidly expanding SOC team in Durham.Are you looking for a good work/life balance in a role within a team that is constantly working on interesting projects and offering insight to their varied clientsPreferred experience/ competencies: At least 3 years within a penetration tester role. Qualifications in (or working towards) OSCP, COMPTIA Sec+, Ethical hacker or similar. Have solid experience/ understanding of Vulnerability testing- alien vault, NESSUS, Technical security reviews Solid foundational experience with cyber essentials framework and driving security understanding within organisations. Confident in promotion of security best practice and standards. Confidence with building relationships with 3rd parties, internal teams, and the clients to provide efficient and bespoke solutions. SIEM Platforms and EDR tooling Genuine interest in driving clients security systems/procedures.Responsibilities: Working with the rest of the Cyber team, you will deliver projects including penetration tests, cyber essentials plus certification, technical information security assessments and assessments against frameworks such as Cyber Essentials Plus. You will keep ahead of the latest information security and data protection best practice, to provide clients with the best advice. The role will also involve providing mentoring and support to junior team members to raise the skills and service offerings of the team.
