We work across all Virgin Money products and with a brilliant array of specialists both within the company and externally.This role represents a senior position within the media and SEO team, owning the acquisition strategy across all channels (paid media, organic and aggregator) for two of our highest profile products. We are looking for somebody who can lead from the front,leveraging the strengths of our agency and supplier relationships and ultimately helping us achieve both our short- and long-term targets, as aligned with our overall media and marketing strategy.What youll be doing

• Managing the delivery of Virgin Moneys organic and paid acquisition activity, working with external agencies and suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Representing Media and SEO within the business and interfacing with product and other specialist teams
• Working directly with web, content, trading and dev teams to deliver solutions
• Crafting SEO and media recommendations for implementation and selling them into commercial teams via forecasting and modelling
• Evaluating and reporting on campaign success, working with key stakeholders to optimise and improve
• Spearheading a test and learn approach across all acquisition channels
• Creating and helping deliver media and SEO strategies that ladder up into Virgin Moneys marketing and business goals

We need you to have

• Experience working in a media/SEO role - either in-house or at an agency
• A deep understanding of acquisition marketing and SEO, including technical, on-site and content
• Experience working with technical and development teams, briefing in changes in a clear way
• A proven record of working with agencies and third parties, helping them deliver their best
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience working with stakeholders in non-marketing teams
• Experience managing and developing junior talent
• A deep understanding of the relationship between brand-building and direct response advertising
• Ability to drive change and deliver results via a multidiscipline team
• An understanding of attribution modelling, including MMM and how it can be used to improve performance

Its a bonus if you have but not essential

• Hands-on experience of SEO implementation and in-platform experience with one or more media channels
• Relevant marketing experience and/or qualifications
• Experience of working directly with media owners and/or social & creative teams/agencies
