Job Description

Senior Java Developer - Remote A public sector organisation is hiring for a Senior Java Developer to join their team. Within this role you will have a direct impact on the local community, playing a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of services. You will be directly involvedin the development of exciting new technology that will revolutionise the organisations operations.Skills:

  • Good technical skills and experience in the full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Recent experience in Java development language
  • Java Spring Framework
  • RESTful Web Services,
  • Apache Tomcat,
  • JavaScript, HTML and CSS for user interface development,
  • XML and JSON for data exchange
  • Oracle or SQL Server Databases
  • Commercial experience of Hibernate/JPA for database access and the jQuery JavaScript library for user interface development would be beneficial, not essential.
  • Experience with Angular is desirable
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft will also be desirable
  • Agile delivery methodology
Salary: £42K - £55K DOEBenefits
  • 24 days leave , increasing to 29 days for 5 years+ service + BH.
