In this position you will have the opportunity develop and build ETL jobs on the datafabric from ingestion layer to conformed and analytical layers to provide actionable insight to multiple business areas to really disrupt the status quo. With this in mind we need people to help us shape the future of our data landscape, drive forward ourdata strategy, and help deliver our digital banking ambitions, using cloud technologies and all of this while keeping the bank safe.As an experienced Data Engineer youll be working within an established team to prepare, provision and optimise the banks big data assets as well as existing data assets within the combined bank. You will work with an awesome team of Designers, Data Engineers,Architects, and Analysts. Youll easily build positive and effective stakeholder relationships across the business, engaging them on our data transformation strategy. And as part of Data Solutions you will be a driving force on our journey to our cloud hosteddata platform, which is the foundation of our digital bank.To be brilliant youll need a passion for data engineering along with experience in master data management (MDM), data lineage and data warehousing. If you want to help drive the banks data & digital transformation and play an integral role in our transformationjourney wed love to hear from you.Skills needed Ideally youll also be skilled in logical and physical data modelling with some previous exposure to dimensional models (star schemas). Someone with an insatiable curiosity of all things data who can quickly elicit requirements, thoroughly profile data,devise approaches for delivering data and bring the whole process to life.Key development skills should include Oracle Warehouse Builder, PL/SQL and knowledge of Oracle v11/v12 databases.
