Job Description

Sales Operations Analyst & Coordinator£220m global leader in the design and manufacture of sealing solutions, used mainly in a wide variety of process industries including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and power generation, is looking to strengthen its global Sales teamfurther to the success of a UK initiative that delivered has 60% growth in the last five years.We’re looking to recruit to the newly created role of Sales Operations Analyst & Coordinator, responsible for improving, standardising and supporting new business development activity via a new system, recently developed and launched on the Salesforce platform.Ultimately, your efforts and actionable insight will contribute to increasing sales and productivity.Reporting directly to the Global Director for Strategic Sales, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing Sales data entries daily, validating information against pre-set standards, working with the global sales team to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Compiling monthly reports describing the group’s progress with business development - identifying opportunities and trends
  • Updating the system with information that is received from external resources
  • Supporting system users, in particular with requests for information from the group
  • Liaising with external Sales personnel and external Marketing companies to create case studies
  • Overseeing requests for system improvements, coordinating with external software programmers following approval
  • Raising awareness of significant information and events to the maximise opportunities across the group
  • Organising, co-ordinating and potentially attending sales symposiums, training events and general reviews to provide maximum return for attendees
  • Co-ordinating the annual awards ceremony that celebrates business development excellence
As Sales Operations Analyst & Coordinator you’ll need:
  • Strong experience, ideally gained in a Sales environment as a Sales Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Operations Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, MI Analyst, Sales Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong, confident communication skills with a friendly and approachable outlook
  • Relevant training and/or certifications advantageous
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office - ideally adept in Excel, Salesforce (creation of reports and dashboards) and Power BI
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A level-headed, common-sense, commercially-oriented approach
  • Capable of working autonomously
