Job Description

Home based role with one of our favourite Sage 200 resellers, you can live anywhere in the UK no matter how remote, so if you live up a mountain in Wales, or at Lands End or John OGroats, thats fine! They are looking for a motivated Sage 200 / Sage 200c Support Analyst who ideally has some experience of any of the Sicon, Draycir or Eureka add-ons, or some SQL or Crystal. You will be an experienced Sage 200 Support Consultant, either supporting the solution in house at an end user or working for a reseller or Sage themselves. The role is permanent and remote:

  • It is fully home based, they will ensure you have a great home office set up
  • Working on interesting support calls and emails from quick fixes to quite complex issues
  • Supporting Sage 200c and Sage CRM
  • Giving additional support for Sales Order & Purchase Order plus, Service & Repairs, Spindle, Credit Hound, Manufacturing, e-commerce, WAP & distribution, so plenty to learn and get your teeth into
  • Wide salary range to £45k depending on your depth of expertise
  • You will be giving frontline support to their clients, taking ownership of problems, logging the details, keeping the client updated on progress and explaining things in laymens terms where appropriate, diagnosing bugs and faults, triaging Sage 200 support problems and escalating them where necessary. This software consultancy has been selling Sage 200 for 25 years +, and have also moved into working with another ERP solution over the last 5 years and are growing a nice new market there. They have over 2,000 support contracts, they are busy, they are still profitable and doing very well.Their business is all about client retention, maintaining the relationship and keeping customers for the long term. They often pick up Sage 200 clients who are unhappy with their current reseller and who get in touch with them through personal recommendation. This is a quality environment, customers get superb support and all Sage 200 projects are well delivered. This is the perfect job for someone who likes being busy, who wants to learn new add-on products, who is well organised working from home, but likes the back up of a close team (65+ people and still growing) of talented and experienced colleagues to turn to, and who loves problem solving and figuring things out. You will have decent Sage 200 support skills, and certifications in Sage 200 financials or commercials would be nice to have or experience of any of the above add-on products. SQL and or Crystal Reports would also be welcomed, but more than anything, they want someone bright, enthusiastic and keen to learn more, and looking for a long term job.If you have a plan to move into software development, project management or implementation then they can facilitate that for you in the future, however if you are happy in a software support role, then that is fine too. They are a solid software company, long established with loyal clients and in a financially strong position. Everyone gets on extremely well almost like family, despite their size. Its a friendly, happy, knowledgeable environment.Newcastle is just a pinpoint, you can live anywhere nationwide.
