Job Description

Apply today - Connect Appointments seek a Receptionist to represent our growing Newcastle based client on a full time basis.What to expect from the role:

  • Working hours Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Salary starting at £18,525/annum
Our client designs, manufactures, and installs nurse alarm systems. They are currently expanding their workforce with hardworking, goal driven individuals. As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact and act as the face of the company. Therefore, you must have strong communication and presentation skills.As Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing excellent levels of customer service
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
  • Answering calls and taking messages
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, brochures)
  • Receiving and distributing mail
  • Updating calendars and scheduling meetings
  • General filing
  • Sorting invoices
The ideal Receptionist will have the following skills and experience:
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, front office representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload
