And you get these Red-Hot Rewards from day one!An exciting opportunity has become available within our Corporate Communications team, for a Public Affairs Manager who can join us and make a real difference.You will support the development and delivery of the Banks government, and other stakeholder engagement relations, communicating key messages to internal and external audiences and developing headline external campaigns for the bank.The role in a nutshell....
  • Working with the Public Affairs team to build advocacy for Virgin Money in the external environment.
  • Responsibility for building and managing relationship with regional stakeholders and membership organisations.
  • Representing Virgin Money at relevant political and policy focused events.Delivery of comprehensive monitoring, research and analysis on the political environment and Government policy.
  • Creating materials to help communicate Virgin Moneys vision to external audiences.
  • Planning and delivery of events and meetings with political stakeholders trade bodies and consumer groups.
There are a few essentials you need to bring
  • Strong research and analysis skills, supported by excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Networking skills to build and leverage relationships within the Bank.
  • A strong interest in government relations or communications.
  • Strong numeracy / data skills, and PC literacy.
  • Ability to work in a team - adaptable and responsive to the team and wider bank colleagues.
  • Experience in working in small, focused, dynamic teams.
  • Seeks opportunities to improve knowledge and skills, proactively takes ownership for personal and professional development.
  • Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
