Job Description

The CompanyProject Accountant - Remote Working - Flexible Hours - Study Support - Career ProgressionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a dynamic, global organisation. This role will involve predominantly remote working but you must live within a commutable distance of Newcastle.   • Providing clear, accurate and insightful analysis on the financial aspects of your projects.
  • Cost controlling and reporting
  • Preparingforecast and budget information.
  • Ensuring financial statements reflect true and fair view of the department’s activities.
  • Responsibility for SAP administration of project, profit and cost centre structure within own area of responsibility.
  • Acting as a lead contact for accounting topics for own area with Operational Accounting and Financial Shared Services. E.g. Accounting Paper, Fixed Asset Policy, IFRS implementation, etc.
The PersonThe requirements for the Project Accountant role are:
  • You will be Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT qualified. You must beactively studying towards your finance qualification.
  • You will need to have a goodunderstanding and practical experience of accounting principles
  • You will have previous experience of forecasting and budgeting
  • You must have strong Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable
  • You must be a strong communicator who can build relationships across multiple remote sites and at all levels.
  • You will be a motivated individual who is keen to develop
