This will include maintaining positive customer and supplier relations, the arranging and negotiation of contractsin accordance with UK Procurement Legislation and ongoing contract management, including the identification and delivery of cost reductions.Responsibilities include: Leading on projects and contributing to the development and maintenance of contracting arrangements. Maintaining and maximising optimum value for money to deliver a flexible and high-quality service which supports the Force and OPCC (Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner) strategic objectives. Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure Procurement processes and existing contracts are managed well and continue to deliver value for money. Acting as the first point of contact for Procurement queries from internal and external stakeholders, to deliver value for money solutions. Supporting the Senior Procurement Officer on key projects.
