Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Process Engineer for a 3-6 month contract position for a client who specialise in Fabrication based close to Newcastle.Education, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing engineering role
  • Experience in Radan
  • CAD/CAM
  • Experienced in CAD software and design would be beneficial, as would general IT skills
  • Experience of complex fabrication, sheet metal projects manufacturing "best practice" would be advantageous
  • Experience in operations, manufacturing, technical, project and quality roles
    • Core competencies and skills:
  • Ability to persuade and influence
  • Ability to work in teams and on own initiative with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions
  • Be results and goals orientated and self-motivated
  • Good working knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma toolkit including, Kaizen, Kanban, 5s, DMAIC, TPM, Value Stream Mapping
