Job Description

The BusinessHybrid Working - Flexible Hours - Consultative Business Model - Progression OpportunitiesAre you a payroll administrator, seeking your next challenge or even a step upNigel Wright are delighted to be working with one of the top accountancy firms in the North East, looking to bring in a Payroll Administrator to their Newcastle office.The RoleAs a Payroll Administrator a typical day could include:

  • Providing an effective and efficient end to end payroll service to a variety of different clients.
  • Being a point of contact for clients and assisting with any issues that arise.
  • Setting up pension schemes with a variety of providers.
  • Building fantastic relationships with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Liaising with HMRC where required.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
The BenefitsAs a Payroll Administrator, you are entitled to a range of benefits, as well as other aspects that make this role attractive:
  • A competitive salary between £24,000 and £28,000 depending on experience.

The Requirements and ProcessTo qualify for this role as a Payroll Administrator, you should:
  • Have at least 2 years experience working in payroll.
  • Have experienced working within a payroll bureau setting.
  • Have experience using the STAR system would be preferable but NOT essential.
  • Be confident working with technology.
  • Be a confident and professional communicator.
  • Be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
