* HR Advisor* People Advisor* Part TimeAre you an experienced People Advisor but need a part-time opportunityI am working with a growing transport company based in the heart of Newcastle in search of a part-time people advisor to work closely with the people and culture manager on a part-time, permanent basis. You will work a 22.5-hour week, which can be over threedays or stretched over five.As a vital member of the HR team, you will support the People and culture Manager in leadership and coordination for all human resources activities of the business, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational and transactional HR activities.The People Advisor will be responsible for the timely and accurate management of all HR and training activity and documentation, including personal information subject to confidentiality and GDPR compliance within the company.Accountabilities include: * Providing a high-quality and proactive HR service to managers and colleagues on all aspects of HR and ER.* Management of the HR system, ensuring all employment life cycle documentation is current, e.g. contracts, personal development reviews, ones-to-ones, job descriptions etc.* Provide support and coaching to line managers on all ER issues (disciplinary, grievance, sickness/absence management, performance etc), where line managers will need subject matter expert assistance with an understanding of all HR local and group policiesand procedures.* Support managers in carrying out investigations and support formal hearings, taking a proactive role as required.* Supporting the People & Culture Manager in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.* Responsible for organising occupational health medicals and referrals, as required.* To ensure all payroll administration is complete in line with payroll deadlines.* Manage HR processes, including onboarding, recruitment, induction, and compliance.* To manage the employee absence process, supporting managers and providing the required data, and supporting initiatives to support colleague attendance.* Developing recruitment campaigns by supporting the business in the recruitment and selection process and ensuring all vacancies are filled as quickly as possible.* To undertake activities as directed by the line manager to maximise every opportunity to delight our customers.A full-time salary equivalent of £35,000 pro rata and benefits such as 25 days holiday + B/H pro rata, Life Assurance, Discounted travel, Health and well-being scheme plus many more.Interested Please apply to
