Job Description

Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce that we are working with one of the longest established subsea trenching organisations to recruit a Package Manager on a 12 month contract basis.LOCATION: Home Based with travel to Blyth and BahrainSALARY: Up to £500 per day!LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 12 MonthsROLE SUMMARY:The nature of this Package Manager role means that the role shall be predominantly based onshore, initially in the UK but with travel to Bahrain also expected as required, with some support required during Project mobilisations to ensure the third party Survey Contractor is fully aligned with the Scope of Work.Key Project interface for Project Survey activities, working collaboratively with outsourced Route Engineering, Survey and Data Processing, UXO Consultants, and UXO ID contractors and vetting third party supply of equipment and labour to maximise ROI.DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Coordination and management of 3rd party shallow water Survey Subcontractor. Clients main interface with Survey Subcontractor.
  • Selection of 3rd party positioning Survey Subcontractor to mobilise on construction vessels to meet the requirements within the scope of work.
  • Coordination with outsourced route engineering and geoscience’s function.
  • Coordination with 3rd party UXO consultant who will be delivering the project ALARP certificate.
  • Selection and management of 3rd party UXO ID Subcontractor.
  • Undertake reporting / QC / procedural updates as required.
  • Providing survey support as and when required. under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Overall responsibility for the review and checking of 3rd party Procedures to meet the Project requirements.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve the Survey and UXO ID deliverables.
  • Survey QA and QC work in support of the offshore teams.
  • Cost and schedule control of all of the above.
  • Managing survey interface with client Subsea Assets.
  • Responsible for the Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Security compliance relating to the work that is performed by the company.
  • TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:
  • Relevant qualification in Hydrographic Survey or similar (Minimum HNC or Equivalent).
  • Offshore or Subsea experience in a relevant field (Desirable).
  • Experience and knowledge of working with main customers in an offshore or onshore role preferred.
  • Demonstrable track record of contributions to projects and commercial activities.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplined team and to strict deadlines.
