Job Description

Oracle R12 Solutions Architect - Newcastle, £80-100K + 10% Bonus + £5,400 Car Allowance + Bens. You must have a background as a Solutions Architect with experience of Oracle R12, Oracle E-Business Suite and have delivered complex solutions within a multi-supplier,multi-year, and/or multi-release environment. The role:*Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable solutions (services and applications) for the organisation with technical teams in service and project delivery teams, predominantly in Oracle R12 E-Business Suite and associated technologies.*Understanding business objectives of the organisation and matching solutions to facilitate those objectives.*Producing appropriate design outputs to support our technical delivery teams and help us ensure we able to offer improved levels of service.*Communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including internal technical teams and our business users on cloud solutions, to help with the delivery of projects.*Designs for upgrading of existing, and introduction of new, functionality to support more efficiency within the organisation, as part of our digital transformation.*Using your experience and expertise to make recommendations based on new technologies and opportunities, as part of contributing to higher level architecture and strategy, peer reviewing content, and developing our long-term roadmaps. Experience:*Youll have experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite (and Oracle ERP Cloud), as well as other core Oracle capabilities such as OIC, ODI, OIM, OTL, OBIE, HFM, and PBCS and integration of third-party products (such asbanking, procurement, eLearning, etc). *Youll have delivered complex solutions within a multi-supplier, multi-year, and/or multi-release environment.*Youll likely have held architecture, senior technical or business SME roles in the past and can demonstrate deep integration across business and technical teams (and with systems integrators). Experience of working with remote teams is desirable.We are also interested if you have knowledge or experience of:*Hands-on designing, building, and deploying services and applications across at least one or more of AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, or MS Dynamics AX with associated Professional Solutions Architect certifications *Integrating Identities across a broad range of services with the aim of unifying access through federation, optimising the user experience using Single Sign On (SSO) and securing access via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). *The GDPR (2018) regulations and the impact regarding the retention of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).*Embedding security services/tooling within solution designs and knowledge of protecting data from new and emerging threats. *Integration and analytics technologies required to deliver end to end solutions across a portfolio of third-party products, experience of utilising APIs and/or middleware.*Automation services such as Infrastructure as Code, Service Orchestration. *Networking principles including Next Generation Firewall technologies, Load Balancers, Routing/switching and the segregation of services. *Bidding and other client-side support activities, to ensure we plan for and mobilise the right technologies with our operational and client teams, and responding innovatively to niche or bespoke client needs.TECHNOLOGY SKILLSOracle skills of interest would include:*Oracle Cloud Infrastructure*Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)*Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM)*Human Capital Management (HCM)As an organisation we also extensively use Microsoft, Google, AWS, Autodesk, Bentley and BMC technologies and any experience of these, and equivalent skills to the above, is welcome. This Oracle R12 Solutions Architect - Newcastle, role is a hybrid position based in Newcastle and pays c£80-100K base + 10% Bonus, £5,400 Car Allowance + bens.
