Job Description

Operations AdministratorWe have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join an exciting charity whose mission is to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed through support, empowerment, and opportunity.Position: Operations AdministratorLocation: NewcastleHours: Full-time, 37.5 per weekSalary: £21,900-£25,944 (dependent on experience/qualifications)Benefits: 5% Employer pension contributionClosing date: 22nd February 2023About the role: As Operations Administrator, you will support the Head of Operations in and executing key functions within the organisations Operations department to equip and enable it to fulfil its mission of seeing the lives of offenders and their communities visiblytransformed.Key responsibilities will include:

  • HR administrationconducting the administration of recruitment & induction, staff leave, staff HR changes, appraisals, volunteers, and subcontractors.
  • Finance administrationProcessing expenses and invoices, bank reconciliation, donation systems, donor follow-up, training staff in the use of finance system.
  • IT system administrationoversight of our Microsoft platform and accounts, emails, calendars, and IT assets management.
  • Reporting, social media & newsletterscollating information to create reports, proofreading capturing and sharing the organisations stories and impact
  • Office management & general administration
About YouWe are looking for an experienced Operations Administrator with the ability to manage themself, including balancing conflicting priorities and working to deadlines. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and a good eye for detail.To succeed in the role of Operations Administrator, your key skills will include:
