Job Description

Our client are a global technology company who operate in over 100 countries. They continue to dominate the market, and as a result, are seeking a motivated individual to join their team in. As a high calibre Abrasives Key Account Manager, you will be rewardedwith a great sales incentive bonus plan and many other benefits.Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales with our top end user accounts across key industrial segments in the UK to exceed targets quarterly and under an annual sales plan.
  • Building mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with key clients and establish strong relationships based on trust and loyalty.
  • Working collaboratively with existing and new key accounts to gain a thorough understanding of their abrasive needs and help solve these with solutions.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to grow business together.
  • Preparing clear plans with major key accounts detailing main objectives, strategies & tactics and track progress against these through relevant KPI targets.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s/ Apprenticeship degree or higher
  • Key Account Selling Skills gained within the industrial market sector.
  • Proven Key Account Management experience with a track record of growth with large industrial end users.
  • Tenacious, highly driven, and conscientious with ability to navigate pro-actively through complexity.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both externally and internally.
  • A problem-solving mindset with capability to understand relevant industrial manufacturing processes and propose solutions to key customer pain points.
