Interaction Recruitment are activelty seeking a Time Served MIG Welder/Fabricator for our well established client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.This is a Permanant position, working Monday - Thursday on a 2-shift rotation.2 weeks of Days 07:30-17:15 offering a payrate of £14.16 ph & 2 weeks of Nights offering a payrate of £18.83 ph (this includes shift allowance)Overtime available on a Friday & weekends offering a payrate of Time & a Half plus an additional 18% incentive.The Role:Working from a bench, you will fabricate & MIG weld large components to customer specification, working from a scheduled issued by your Section Leader of Line Manager,Reading from detailed Engineering drawings & CAD drawings.You will be responsible for certification of your own quality of work, working closely with and liaising with Engineering & Quality departmentsEnsuring HSE policies are adhered to at all times.Essential Skills:Experienced MIG Welder & FabricatorAble to read from detailed Engineer DrawingsAble to identify & correct weld defects to ensure the highest standard of workAble to communicate effectively with Management & Engineering departments with improvement ideas to maximise productivity & efficiencyfor more information, please call Lee at Interaction Recruitment on or send an up to date CV to
