Job Description

The company are a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Newcastle area and are looking for a panel beater or metal dresser for long term rolesThe Role

  • Metal dressers required for a long term temporary to permanent position
  • Following diagrams and specifications
  • Cutting metal products down to precision size using hand tools and guillotines
  • Metal dressing including sanding, grinder and removal of excess materials prior to completed welding duties
  • Basic fabrications including linishing and finishing to completing quality
  • Should have some familiarity with quality inspections, as there will be some aspects of visual quality inspections
  • Ensuring items are within tight tolerance’s
  • Panel beating and quality inspections on all products
    • The Person
  • Ideally should have worked within metal fabrications or metal dressing in the past
  • Should be flexible for working in a team
  • Offer competitive rates or pay and possibilities for long term and potentially permanent depending on performance
