The Role:Location: work from home flexibility with weekly visits to Newcastle & South CoastSalary: £75-£80k with competitive benefits packageOur client is a leading technology organisation with an impressive portfolio of market leading SaaS structured services. They are currently looking for a talented Marketing leader who will play a critical role in enabling their group growth ambitions, ensuringthat they thoroughly segment and target key sectors to increase market penetration.Leveraging all resources at their disposal, they would be responsible for the design and execution of innovative strategies that engage and excite the addressable marketplace, generating high quality, highly qualified sales leads that convert not just intocustomers but strong advocates of their Group-wide solutions that retain value and volume.The opportunity to increase leads but also position a combined group value proposition is one that the role holder will need to fully exploit, along with influencing the Product Strategy via an omni-channel approach to marketing, creating a comprehensiveawareness of all brands which will both grow and retain customers over the longer term.The Person:• Ideally holding a business degree and preferably CIM & MBA qualified, candidates should be experienced senior B2B marketing professionals with proven experience across SaaS or similar technology markets in leading and motivating a function to meet delivera strategy aligned to business objectives, key results and BAU KPIs.• A naturally adept digital professional with implicit understanding of the digital marketing landscape - social, PPC, SEO, content marketing and inbound activity.• A highly organised self-starter who takes ownership and acts proactively to make things happen - and influences and holds to account their peers and other Departments.• A track record of people management, leadership, coaching and development of marketeers.• The ability to gather and interpret insights and data on the changing market and external landscape to inform solutions and ways of working - and influence others as required across businesses.• A capable communicator who can clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences including senior management, aligned with sound commercial awareness and understanding.• A breadth of experience across all areas of Marketing (from research through to communications) with evidential success at delivering joined up integrated marketing campaigns• Good commercial understanding with the ability to execute business strategy and objectives.• Experience influencing and negotiating, directly with commercial customers, building relationships and representing the business externally.• A thorough understanding of CRM and marketing automation best practice, particularly Salesforce/Pardot and related platforms and activities.
