I am looking for a logistics operative with FLT licences to work on a temp to perm contract.Duties & Key Responsibilities Book transportation with recognised haulier through online portals. Unload and store material deliveries, & book into stock. Load preparation and Despatch customer orders & generate advice notes. Create and Manage export documentation. Manage stock transfers to and from sub-contractors. Ensure effective, safe, accurate, and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfer and dealing with non-conforming product. Work closely with Purchasing and Production Planner(s) to carry out stock checks and improvement activities. Maintain stock integrity within Goods in / Outwards area and to the highest possible standard. Manage shelf-life stock to ensure only in date items are used and FIFO principles are followed. Manage vehicle utilisation to assist in the reduction of transport cost Maintain 6s standard for all Logistic controlled areas. May be required to drive company vehicles.Qualifications Ideally come from an engineering and/or manufacturing background within Logistics. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and have a clear understanding of ERP systems Hold Fork Truck Licence 3.5 ton Previous experience essential but licence can be renewed by ADM Full UK driving licence.HoursDays 7:30am5:15pm MondayThursday Nights 8:15pm6:00am MondayThursdayPay - £12.16 Days £16.17 Nights
