Job Description

Morgan Hunts client - education sector - is seeking the addition of an experienced IT Support Engineer for an initial two month period.This role is to be based on site in the North East of England.Job specific requirements below:

  • To install and maintain hardware and software portfolio
  • Desktop support and deployment experience, using systems such as SCCM
  • To provide IT support and advice to all customers
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and other support services to ensure deadlines are met
  • A detailed knowledge of supporting customers in MS Teams and O365
  • A detailed knowledge of Active Directory
  • Awareness of various networking protocols; TCP/IP, IPV4, IPV6
  • Ability to make CAT5/6 network cables upon request
  • Experience with Apple and Microsoft core systems, including but not limited to Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server, Apple OS/iOS/Server
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning through effective use of Technology in the classroom
  • Responsible for the maintenance of AV systems across classrooms, lecture theatres and meeting rooms
