The RoleThe main purpose of the job is to support senior International Office (IO) staff and academic Global Deans in the development and implementation of the University’s international relations and partnership activities. The majority of the role will involve you supporting the development of new and existing partnership activity in one or more specific world regions (to be allocated subject to applicants’ experience). You will have a secondary, functional remit which includes the development and implementation of a communications plan to support the delivery of the University’s Global Strategy.You will provide support for and receive support from colleagues in the International Office to ensure efficient and collaborative integration of the University’s international activities. At times, you will be required to work flexibly across regional and functional responsibilities, as the need arises.The International Relations and Partnerships (IR&P) Team is one of six constituent teams in the University’s International Office. The IR&P Team supports the development and delivery of the University’s Global Strategy. Responsibilities include:a. International partnerships: development, management and co-ordination of a portfolio of partners and relationships, including (but not limited to) partnerships with universities, diplomatic colleagues, policy organisations, funders and sponsors b. International data and analysis: informing effective decision making on international mattersc.
