Internal Communications OfficerClosing Date - 20/02/2023A bit about the role...Working with Sonal Solanki, our Senior Internal Communications Manager and the wider Communications team, the Internal Communications Officer will play a critical role in delivering creative and targeted employee facing campaigns and content. You will be joiningthe talented and highly skilled Chief Operating Office Directorate. Sonal believes in working in a collaborative way and with different perspectives to foster good decision making and problem solving within the team.This is a rare chance to shape the future of Communications at Homes England in a national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent, and effective communications plansare in place that address our key themes and priorities. These include a range of themes from HR projects, operational changes, internal announcements to support our transforming organisation. You will have the opportunity to help create engaging employee experience campaigns as this role supports the delivery of key strategic projects like channel management, diversity and inclusion or the Homes England Operating model. You will also be responsiblefor working on communications plans and programmes that focus on engaging our leadership tier. There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Homes England employee experience. A bit about youWhilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders on internal communication campaigns, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.Youll be comfortable with managing communications plan and drafting content for internal audiences. Along with a flair for creative writing, being able to turn complex messages in to simple and easy to understand communications. Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isnt always easy so you will understand principles of employee engagement in change programmes as well as the importance of consistent messaging across our internal channels.You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a Communications team. You will enjoy working in an innovative,fun, and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.As an experienced communications professional youll understand how to work flexibly on priorities as no day is the same and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.Who are we Homes England, the governments housing and regeneration agency, plays a central role in tackling the housing challenges the country now faces.
