Job Description

This team are looking for an Information Security Administrator to join them in this mission. If you are an open-minded, enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for Information Security, this is the role for you.You will play a key role in ensuring this company’s security programme is adaptable with the direction of their ever-growing business. Focusing on risk mitigation, you will enhance security awareness whilst delivering documentation that ensures confidentiality and integrity for company systems and data. Your responsibilities will include responding to security RFI’s and informing new and existing clients about this team’s security commitment. You will help drive and improve information security compliance across the organisation by working closely with the infosec team to ensure all documentation is completed.Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the administration of internal and external audits
  • Vetting new and existing vendors
  • Respond to security RFI’s/RFP’s
  • Administration and ongoing maintenance of the Information Security Risk register
  • Lead the response in regard to urgent client security questionnaires
  • Manage administration of key security tasks within the team
  • Administration of internal vulnerability assesments and penetration tests
  • Prepare key metric reports for the security department
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders across the business in regard to urgent information security matters.
  • Required knowledge and skills:
  • Strong attention to detail/ detail orientated focussed person.
  • Previous experience using auditing and compliance skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Desire to develop career within information security.
  • Previous exposure to working with Information Security/Data Protection
