Job Description

Heating Service Engineer required for our client, to deliver their service products directly to the customer, working on a variety of Residential equipment located at various Sites.The service engineer will report to the Service Manager and will work closely with the Service Administration team as well as liaising with other Technical Services teams where needed.Service Engineers will carry out a variety of activities on customer sites including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), quoted/remedial works, commissioning, and emergency callouts. A thorough understanding of all residential products and equipmenttechnology will be required.The company have requirements for Service Engineers in the North West and also the North East so please apply if you are in either locations.Heating Site Services Engineer Position Overview

  • Perform all activities in-line with customer service standards, department standards and company principles.
  • Service and maintain equipment to a high standard in line with company and industry standards
  • Conduct on-site repairs to a high standard ensuring the minimum amount of downtime for the end user.
  • Produce concise, well written technical reports that are submitted on time and in full.
  • Track, benchmark and develop your technical ability on new and existing products ensuring the highest level of knowledge is maintained
  • When liaising with all areas of the business engage positively with outcomes focused on customer centricity and a best in industry service
Heating Site Services Engineer Position Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years heating industry experience
  • ASHP experience is desired
  • General knowledge of the U.K. heating and ventilation industry
  • General knowledge of U.K. building and water regulations
  • Unvented Hot Water qualification
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Full driving license
  • CSCS card holder
  • F Gas and/or NVQ Level 2 in refrigerant & air conditioning is desirable but not essential
  • Recognized HVAC Service and Maintenance qualifications
Heating Site Services Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £35,000 - £42,000
  • Holiday is 25 days, extending to 27 over 2 years. There is a benefit to buy more holiday, up to 5 days
